Plata Lappas Holloware Flatware Silver and Crystal Specialty Stores About the Co.

Flatware
The Plata Lappas technique for producing flatware uses a series of cold stamping operations effected with enormous presses that force the metal to flow, creating a harmonious conjunction of embossing and matting. Master engravers in Paris are responsible for creating the stamping dies of Plata Lappas classic flatware patterns. Expert craftsmen assemble, buff and polish each piece by hand, a procedure that no automatic system can duplicate.

The Plata Lappas flatware collections include the Sterling Silver, the Electroplated Nickel Silver and the Stainless Steel. The Sterling Silver is manufactured with a Silver title of 925/1000. The Electroplated Nickel Silver has a 12% nickel content in its alloy and is plated with a 40 microns silver deposit with a title of 999/1000+.

The Stainless Steel is done in a cromo/nickel alloy measured 18/8. All our flatware pieces are guaranteed by the Plata Lappas hallmark.
